I have over 20 years of experience working with students and parents in the academic environment. After teaching elementary school and working in college admissions, it became evident to me that my passion is helping high school students explore their future. Following my work for both a private university and a public community college, I decided to pursue a master's degree in school counseling.

After working as a high school counselor for 6.5 years at a local parochial school, I am now the College Confidante. I work independently with students to facilitate a smooth and confident transition from high school to college. The mission of the College Confidante is to provide students and families with experienced guidance throughout the college process. Planning for college should be an exciting time for students. The reality, while exciting, is that the process can also be stressful. Selecting the right college isn't as simple as picking a favorite and filling out an application. I have experience with college from all sides of the desk and would love to work with your family to bring the excitement back into the process.
